Curb Appeal. Does your house have curb appeal? Can we give it a little more pizzazz to draw the buyer in? Would a bit of touch-up paint add significant value to the house? Is the lawn mowed and neatly edged? Have bushes and trees been pruned recently? Are colorful flowers in the flowerbed? If not, it may be time for a quick garden upgrade. Adding colorful annuals to the front lawn will go a long way in increasing value. Remember, creating curb appeal WILL add dollars to your home's final selling price.
Curb Appeal Checklist >
Welcome Home! As we walk through the door of your house, we will ask ourselves, "Will this house say, 'Welcome Home!' to a potential buyer?" By looking through the eyes of a buyer, we will recommend changes that will increase overall appeal.
We advise that you eliminate anything that gives your home the appearance of clutter. Countertops should be free and clear. Knickknacks, souvenirs, family photos, refrigerator artwork - it's gone! We need to "de-personalize" your house so buyers can imagine it as their home.
Closets and cupboards should appear large and spacious. It may be time for you to make a donation to your local charity, or store belongings at a friend's or family member's home while your home is on the market.
Reviewing your home room-by-room, we will make recommendations that impact the sale. We'll also point out pieces of furniture that should be removed or moved, rooms that need new paint, carpet that needs to be changed, fixtures that need polishing, windows that need cleaning, and any other alteration that can easily be achieved to promote the sale and increase value.

Setting the Stage. Before the first buyer walks through your door, we'll show you exactly how to set the stage. We want to engage the buyer's senses and excite him. Even the lighting in a room is critical. We'll draw back curtains, open blinds, change light bulbs and add lighting where needed in order to make the buyer feel welcome. We'll enhance the ambiance by playing music lightly in the background and ensure that a pleasing aroma emanates from every room in your home. |
